    Accusations of insensitivity and racism

    . . . jeopardized a Vice President’s career and negatively impacted her department at a century-old financial services company.

    Hired by HR, Denise Cooper coached a struggling subordinate, improving their relationship with the VP from a '3' to a '9' on a 1-10 scale in six months.

    By enhancing self-awareness and communication, Denise helped them understand their differing management styles and cultural perspectives.

    As a result, they successfully collaborated on a key initiative, expanding the company’s influence from individual life events to a broader range of investment products.

    A newly independent media company was threatened by

    . . . performance issues after the decision was made to spin-off the company from its larger parent. The EVP of HR enlisted Denise Cooper to navigate the transition, upgrade talent, and enhance team cohesion.

    Denise facilitated alignment between talent and fit, clarified high-performance expectations, developed tools for managers, and coached struggling HR members and executives.
